Conference venue: Visitors to China often come to big cities like Beijing or Shanghai. The conference venue Tonghua, a major city in Jilin Province of Northeast China, will offer you an opportunity to see the real China and to observe the lives of ordinary Chinese people. Tonghua city is situated at the foot of Changbai Mountain bordering North Korea. Changbai Mountain is a dormant volcano and was included as the United Nations international biosphere protectorate in 1980. September is the best time of the year in this area. You could take some time after the conference to visit the mysterious Tianchi – a lake sitting 2194 meters high up on Changbai Mountain or visit neighboring North Korea and Russia.
